Agave Cactus on Yupo

Yupo is a unique surface for watercolor. Yupo is a synthetic paper that is imported from Japan. It feels like a piece of plastic, it doesn't absorb the colors but they sit on top of the surface so it puddles and makes some really interesting textures. You do need to use a  stronger saturation of color, which I didn't do on this painting but "try, try again!"
